Our focus is you and providing old school relationship based medicine. At Lake Mary Family Care, we care! Your time with the practitioner is yours alone! We don’t double book appointment slots and you will always see the provider you are scheduled to see. Our staff cares about your needs! We understand that our entire team is a critical aspect of the amazing care we provide.

Who are we?

Over two and a half decades of experience in his field, board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (’91), completed his residency at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, served at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan, served in the United States Navy in Okinawa, Japan, medical director for hospice, affiliated with Central Florida Regional Hospital and Florida Hospital, certified medical director, owner and primary care physician with Lake Mary Family Care Place of Well Being.

Over two decades of experience in the field of wellness based lifestyle. Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Life Transformation Expert with numerous certificates and course work in the field. A focus on the entire self through balance of all aspects of self is the focus of her practice facilitating her clients in having the best possible experience of their life.

Founder and President of the Place of Possibility Inc nonprofit, supporting what is possibly for humanity and Project Parent, financial support for parents with a child on Hospice. Co-owner and operator, holistic practitioner with Lake Mary Family Care Place of Wellbeing.

7 years of experience practicing in the emergency room is all one needs to know about Rita’s knowledge and expertise in applying her degree in patient care. She joined Lake Mary Family Care in order to have an ongoing relationship with her patients and her patients love her.

Rita did her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where she earned her degree in Health Sciences. She graduated cum laude and went on to earn her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
